Welcome to Chester High School!  All CHS parents must register their student in person on one of the days listed above.  If you are unable to make this time, please contact the office to set up an appointment after August 1.  There is no early registration.

Yearbook pictures will be taken on the first day of school.  Picture packets will be available at Registration.

Go through the following steps and print/complete any necessary forms to speed up the registration process.

Step One:  Registration of Student
We encourage you to register online through Skyward Family Access at home.  You will see a tab called Online Registration on the left hand side.  Click on the tab and complete all of the steps.  You should receive confirmation when this is completed. If you have registered online, we will simply confirm completion and you can move to the next step.  If you are unable to do this at home, we will have computers set up for you to complete this process at school. Step Two:  Verification of Residency
Residency verification will be required for all Freshmen students and those who have a change of address.  Bring this form to the second station along with the documents showing your current name and address.  Requested documents are listed on the form under Part 1: Residency Verification. Verification of Residency

Incoming Freshmen: All incoming freshmen students must have a physical form and certified birth certificate.  The physical form must be signed by both the parent and the doctor.  
*You will receive a letter in the mail if we do not already have a birth certificate on file. 

Informational Packets and Forms
In order for office staff to administer medication to a student, a Medical Authorization Form must be one file in the office.  The form must be completed and signed by a doctor.

The District Informational Packet and a copy of the Handbook/Code of Conduct will be available at registration. 

Step Three:  Sports
Any student who is considering playing a sport this school year will need to read the information below and complete the IHSA Sports Medicine Consent form within the online process. Sports Medicine Consent form.

Step Four:  Yondr Contract
All students and parents will have to sign a contract stating if the student plans to have their phones at school and pay for the $15 fee for the Yondr sleeve or not.

Please make sure both the parent and student have signed this form.

Step Five:  School Counselor
Mr. Guebert is available for those who need schedule changes.  He is also available for those  students who qualifiy under the McKinney-Vento Act.  

Step Six:  Parking Pass
Any student planning to drive to school and park in the student parking lot must purchase a parking sticker and pay the $15 fee. 

Step Seven:  Fees
The last step is to pay the total registration fees.
